Why we exist

Every accountant, lawyer, and compliance team we've spoken to tells the same story: important regulatory changes slip through. Not because anyone is careless — because the volume is impossible. The ATO publishes rulings weekly. ASIC updates its regulatory guides constantly. APRA finalises prudential standards. The Federal Court hands down hundreds of judgments a year. And that's before you look at Treasury consultations or the Administrative Review Tribunal.

We built RegMonitor because we thought there was a better way: aggregate every authoritative source, let an AI filter out what doesn't apply to you, and deliver the rest in plain English.

Our methodology

We monitor every major Australian regulator. We store every item. We use Claude (Anthropic's AI) to score each item against your practice profile. Urgent items trigger email and SMS alerts within minutes. Everything else lands in your Monday-morning digest.

We don't re-write regulatory text. We don't paraphrase rulings. We link you directly to the authoritative source every time. Our role is to route and summarise — not to reinterpret.

Privacy and data residency

Our database lives in Sydney (Supabase AU region). We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We never store PII about your clients. The only client data we hold is what your firm explicitly provides during onboarding — firm name, contact email, and the practice areas you want monitored.
